Computers are used in this field all the time. Technology is used in order to record, save, edit, and create music. People use differrent websites- like youtube- in order to share their music with the world. Computer Scientist have coded music sharing websites like spotify or Itunes, in order for people to here eachothers work. Also, things like garage band are used to create music. There are also certain genres in music where it is just technology being used and no real instrument is played.
